WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AROUND THE END OF LIFE?


Life is turned upside down when someone is dying. Problems with money, jobs, housing and social care can cause upset and worry at a difficult time. It can be hard to find the right information and help. But did you know that there are rights in law about what you are entitled to and what you should expect? On top of that, there are rights about what happens when someone is ill, such as choosing the treatments and care they want to accept.


Routes to Rights is a research project in Northeast England which has explored these issues and come up with some ways to improve things. We would like to invite you to a small group event to hear about these and help shape the next stage of the research. We will share a short overview of the project then…
