Shape Youth Festival

Shape’s very first Youth Festival will:

• Showcase the talent and creativity of our young people

• Promote existing opportunities taking place in our cultural venues

• Programme new events, shaped by the young people of Gateshead

There will be opportunities for young people to showcase their own creative work across all creative disciplines. Groups of young people, including Reverberate, Digital Voice, Gateway Studios and Anime Attacks will be hosting events for their peers in venues right across the borough. The festival will also be showcasing work happening in cultural venues so young people and their families can see, at a glance, what’s happening on their doorsteps.
